The Spanish Center for Pulsed Lasers (CLPU) is a unique scientific and technical infrastructure (ICTS) that operates cutting-edge laser technology. We are a worldwide reference user center that collaborates with the most important international facilities, such as ELI or Laserlab Europe.
We have a young multidisciplinary team distributed into three divisions: Scientific, Technical and Management; in addition, the Center has an Engineering Section and a Radiation Protection Service, since the CLPU houses a Category 2 radioactive facility.
Our main objectives are to provide support to international researchers, maintain the facility as a state-of-the-art infrastructure (equipment, knowledge, procedures …), contribute to the training of specialized personnel or organize international events in our fields of research.
